World Parks Academy Certification Programs Certified Park Professional International (CPPI):
CPPI Application Procedures

All applicants must meet the eligibility requirements and complete the following in order to receive the Certified Park Professional International (CPPI) certification:

  • 1.  Complete online application

  • 2.  Pay application fee

  • 3.  Complete competency self-assessment*

    *NOTE: If applicants do not fulfill the self-assessment requirement, then competencies may be achieved through WPA or related training and workshops, conference attendance, research and publications, and/or through Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

  • 4.  Attend World Parks Academy Workshop

  • 5.  Develop an Individual Development Plan (IDP) and fulfill all World Parks Academy IDP documented requirements within three years**

    **NOTE: IDP completion times will vary by individual. All applicants must complete the process within three years.
